I still have some citizens I need to get to Master to finish some research. What's the fastest way for them to gain exp, just put them in a building? Do they need to be researching something?

Trying to contain the chaos is futile.

Best way? leave PS4 open and go watch a movie. That's the best way to level Citizens. Trust me nothing work faster. Just make sure they work in some places.

The Sage's Salon gives more exp. Put them there and make sure its upgraded if you can.

    heh

Not sure that's true as far as I tested Sage's Salon give xp for your characters not your citizens in there.

Like each person in the Sage Salon increase the xp you gain per fights, which is why you should always have it maxed before leveling against the last boss or grinding 10th dream.

Well, guess I will put all citizens in a building and just leave the game on overnight.

I've only seen one source saying its character exp. Everywhere else says it is citizen exp.

I always just assumed it was citizen exp honestly, I guess I will have to double check when I get home.

The Sage's Salon definitely makes citizens level up faster. I tested with two veterans who I just recruited, I put one in the Sage's Salon and the other in their prefered place of work. The one in the Sage's Salon leveled up almost twice as fast.

FYI upgrading the salon doesn't increase the rate of exp gain, only the number of citizens you can put there. There are upgrades that do increase the actual rate of exp gain for citizens (I think it was at the institute).

Then your test is stupid and wrong, obviously.. its made for CITIZEN EXP, go test it yourself, for real this time and not spout nonsense.
